Burton on Trent pub walk – Saturday 16th September
11 members met at the Weighbridge Inn at 1pm then walked to the Devonshire Arms (Burtonbridge Brewery) where we made the most of a sunny beer garden. We retraced our steps to the Last Heretic micropub which had been very full the first time we passed, then the Cooper Arms where again we were able to sit outside and enjoy very good Sarah Hughes amongst a varied selection of beers. We then walked out to the Fuggle and Nugget micropub and finished at the Dog Inn. A good choice of beers throughout the afternoon and very welcoming, friendly pubs.
