On Saturday 23rd June, 12 members joined an afternoon/evening pub crawl around some micropubs in the Erewash branch area. It was a lovely day for walking between pubs and sitting outside where there were beer gardens. We found a very friendly welcome at all the pubs and an excellent choice of beers. We started at the Tap and Growler at Eastwood then walked back to the Gamekeepers, Mellor’s Mews and Dog and Parrot. We walked to the Bunny Hop at Langley Mill then caught a bus (by the skin of our teeth) to Heanor to visit the Angry Bee and Redemption Ale House then another bus to Loscoe to the Tip Inn. Phil will be planning a similar trip later in the summer to take in pubs in other parts of the Erewash area.
